I have heard the music behind the words
I have listened to the song
which stirs and warms my heart
and gives hope and meaning to my life
with all that is beautiful
and all that is broken in me
I want to sing this song
even if my voice is weak
and sometimes wavers
so that others may sing it
and together we may sing a song of hope
to bring joy
where there is sadness and despair
