today I seek in some way a new revelation of the glory of this Savior
who lay down his life in love.
mocked by the priests
and the elders
Jesus is silent
what can he say
what words would change the evil in the hearts of men
who glory in his humiliation
like a roar
the scorn at Golgotha
reaches the portals of heaven
the savior of the world will not save himself
and let man be damned
to the hopelessness of hell
what kind of love is this
that he would choose to endure each moment of torment
God and Lamb
the great I AM
